A walk in the park

I woke this morning with a real urge to get out in the fresh air. It’s freezing cold here but otherwise the weather is fine. So off we went to the park. On the way I could hear the church bells ringing, I love hearing them play. It just gives me that cosy, Sunday morning, villagey (is that even a word?) life is good kinda feeling.
Our local park is beautiful, we’re so lucky to have it nearby. Central Park in New York was based on it.
We brought bread for the ducks, they must’ve been hungry because we were surrounded in seconds!

This swan was beautiful, but huge close up.

Further round the lake is this chinese bridge.

We finished our walk with a visit to the swings for the little people.

After all that fresh air it was lovely to get back home into the warm, chuck a log on the fire and settle down for a cuppa and a spot of crafting. Lovely xx
