Happy granny square day!

Hello to all you lovely hookers out there! I’m just popping my head in quickly as I just found out its Granny square day today. Who knew? It really should have been on my calendar. Next year I’ll be in the know.

Unfortunately I haven’t got a granny square on the go at the moment and not enough time to whip one up tonight so I thought I’d share a few pics of previous ones starting with my very first one.

This is still being used although it’s not looking it’s absolute best.

This was made for my lovely nan for Christmas last year and one of my all time favourite makes.

This was my least favourite one, just not keen on the colours. I gave this to my local community shop for them to sell as a dolls blanket.

And this was my most recent granny square, which is incidentally still available for sale if anyone should be interested?

The humble granny square is definitely my favourite woolly project to get stuck into, it’s easy, therapeutic and very satisfying. I cannot wait to start my next one 😍
